Test-day checklist
- Take the Ontario Hunter Education Program in person with an instructor (ohep.net) or online via HUNTERcourse.com (80% on the final exam).
- Bring government photo ID to an in-person exam.
- Hunting with a gun also needs the CFSC and a PAL (or a minor's licence / CFSC report). Hunter education alone allows bow hunting only.
- Next: get your Outdoors Card and hunting licences.
